She said she visited with you several times, you had the

The last sibling was born possibly 06/17/60 Male
He was born in Schenectady, NY St. Clares Hospital Birth name Jeffrey Davis/Green
Mother was 27 at the time, unmarried,unemployed,protestant.
She had originally signed into the hospital under the last name Green, but it was changes by Schenectady county Social Services and the courts. The woman that had the last name
Green convinced my mom to sign in under her name. That woman was very manipulative and
promised my mother that my brother would have a loing home with 2 parents. The Green
woman was 41 or 42 at the time. He was taken away from her by DSS for abuse.
I was told by the NYS Department of Health Adoption information Registry that the last name was
legally changed back to my mother name, that was Davis at the time.
sister and birth mother both registered with NYS adoption information registry and ISSR.
She married my father in February of 1961 his last name was Anderson. Was told he is
not the father of any of these children. But the name could be there.

My mother regrets letting this woman take him home and has nightmares about it regularly. She would like to know that the family that adopted him after that was very good to him.

We would love to meet our brother's and complete this family and give them the information on there heritage. If for any reason someone reads these and has any information please let me know.

This is the information that I have on the first brother that was Adopted.

His birth name was Donald Davis. Was told that he was born 05/25/58
in Amsterdam NY, St. Mary's hospital not sure if date is correct.
Birth mother was 25 yrs old at the time, unmarried,unemployed Protestant. She visited with him several times, said he had dark hair and the bluest eyes she had ever seen.
He was Adopted with the help of social Services and wasn't adopted until after the age of 1yr.
He had 2 full sibling's born after him. Sibling and birth mother both Registered with the NYS
Adoption Information Registry and ISSR

Would like to meet him and birth mother would like to know that he is OK and was well
taken care of. She has been thinking about him for 50 yrs and did what she thought was the best
for him at the time.

Hi My name is Mary. I recently found out that i had 3 sibling's that were given up for adoption.
there where 2 brother's and one Sister. I started searching in December of 2007. i searched several Adoption registries on line and found information on the sister i was searching for. Her Birth Name was Donna. She was born in Amsterdam NY, July 1959. Birth mother was single. I found her in April of 2008. Her adopted name is Catherine.We had a reunion in May and she got to meet most of her sister's and her birth mother and birth father.

I can not honestly say that I can imagine my life now without her in it. Every day that goes bye i am grateful to have her in my life and hope to soon find my brother's and introduce them to their sister's.
and let them have the opportunity to have the closure that I Catherine has as well as my mom and Family. Above is pictures of the reunion.
